Car chaque année, les grands week-ends estivaux et principalement celui du 14 juillet sont marqués par de trop nombreux accidents de la route...
... l'association Victimes et Citoyens contre l'insécurité routière interpellent les français sur le départ et leur propose de consacrer quelques instants à leur sécurité sur la route.
Alors que le chiffres publiés par l'Observateur Interministériel de Sécurité Routière montre un relâchement de la mobilisation autour de la lutte contre l'insécurité routière, les victimes de la route ont décidé de s'unir afin de rappeler aux vacanciers quelques règles de bons sens afin de leur permettre d'arriver indemnes à destination.
Ainsi, plus de 20.000 exemplaires d'un petit quizz composé d'une dizaine de questions sera distribué le vendredi 11 juillet entre 17 heures et 19 heures aux sorties de quatres grandes villes françaises: Paris, Lyon, Montpellier et Toulouse.
Il sera proposé aux conducteurs recevant ce quizz de le transmettre à l'un de leur passagers afin de se faire interroger sur les règles essentielles concernant la sécurité sur la route des vacances. L'objectif de cette opération est avant tout d'unir le plus grand nombre autour d'une réflexion sur la sécurité routière et le rôle de chacun dans la lutte contre l'insécurité routière.
En signe d'engagement, les membres de l'association proposeront aux automobilistes d'apposer sur leur véhicule un autocollant portant le slogan: « Aimons-nous, respectons-nous, faisons de la route un espace citoyen... »
